Jackie Forbes Founder Drawn to Learn

I founded Drawn to Learn in 2016 after a long career as a development consultancy co business owner designing and facilitating leadership and business development programmes as well as coaching individuals and facilitating groups. I’m qualified in a number of disciplines including NLP, EI, DISC, Strength Deployment Inventory, MBTI, Firo Element B, Appreciate Inquiry.

I love my job as a Graphic Facilitator. Its a privilege to work for and partner with a broad range of organisations to add value to their acitivities through the power of visual support. Time flies when I’m drawing at conferences, meetings or in my studio. I’m quickly able to find my flow, listening deeply, assimilating the conversations and presentations then synthesising into a grand visual minute.

Working with me: I like to really get to know my clients. My approach begins with curiousity, I start by taking a full brief, what is the activity, who are the stakeholders, what does success look like? I then like to collaborate with my clients to explore how to make graphically recording or facilitating the assignment as rich and beneficial an experience as possible. I can often help with meeting process design and pre and post visual support. I have so much more to offer over and above the drawing done live on the day.

Visual Coaching: In my years working in corporate learning and development I coached dozens of people. I was delighted to take my coaching experience and my drawing experience and merge the two to qualify as a certified SHIFT-IT coach in 2020. I love co creating drawings that help visualise futures, understand blocks and how the past has shaped how we behave and who we are. My coaching clients have really enjoyed the process too.
